Who should join?

• TSSSA membership is open to TCSS members who have supervisory responsibility for social studies curriculum and instructional programs pre-kindergarten through grade twelve.

• Individuals with titles of director, department head or chairman, curriculum coordinator, consultant, supervisor, specialist or assistant principal.

What are the benefits?

• Members receive a newsletter and a directory that is revised annually to include the current addresses of all the members.

• A two-day TSSSA Annual Spring Conference that includes the latest trends and information designed to assist Texas social studies supervisors in the rapidly changing educational setting.

• A full-day Fall update at the TCSS Annual Conference.

• A network of Texas social studies leaders who can provide support in a wide number of specialized areas.
